Peter is a life-long Alaskan who brings practical Alaska business experience to the firm. Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law, Peter owned and operated an aviation flight service and then a publishing company. Peter joined Bliss Wilkens Clayton & Diemer in 2013 as a partner.
As a commercial pilot Peter traveled Alaska and understands the challenges faced by Alaska businesses. Today his business practice focuses on health care, Alaska Native corporations and the construction industry.
As a health care attorney Peter serves as outside general counsel to numerous clinics and physician groups across the State. In this role he advises clients on Medicare regulations, STARK, HIPAA, professional liability, professional employment agreements, employer responsibility and health care service agreements.
Peter’s commercial practice emphasizes business entity formation, business valuation, business buyout disputes, asset sales, mergers, acquisitions and intellectual property protection. Peter’s litigation practice focuses on commercial disputes and insurance coverage.
Peter is a member of numerous aviation and veteran support organizations. He enjoys coaching youth soccer and serves as a board member of Alaska’s largest youth soccer organization. Peter and his wife are the proud parents of two children.
